This Privacy Policy describes how the LinkPulse Chrome Extension ("LinkPulse", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our extension to connect your LinkedIn account with your own automation workflow.
We are committed to transparency and to collecting the minimum data necessary to deliver the service.
1. Data We Collect
LinkPulse collects only the data strictly required to connect your LinkedIn account to your configured automation backend:
- LinkedIn session cookie (
li_at) — used solely to verify that you are authenticated with LinkedIn and to securely forward the session to your own automation workflow. - LinkedIn profile URL — used to identify which profile to associate with your workflow.
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
LinkPulse does not collect, store, or process:
- Personal identifiers such as your name, email, or address
- Financial or payment information
- Health, biometric, or location data
- Browsing history or activity outside of LinkedIn
- Passwords or LinkedIn account credentials
- Personal communications, messages, or contacts
3. How We Use Your Data
The data collected is used exclusively to:
- Connect your LinkedIn account to your own automation workflow (e.g. an n8n instance you operate).
- Authenticate requests sent to your configured backend on your behalf.
We never sell, rent, trade, or share your data with third parties for advertising or any other purpose.
4. Security
- All data is transmitted over secure HTTPS connections directly from your browser to your configured backend.
- LinkPulse does not maintain a long-term database of your LinkedIn session. The session cookie is forwarded once to your backend and is not persisted on our servers unless you explicitly configure your own workflow to store it.
- You remain in full control of where your data is sent and how long it is retained.
5. Your Control
- You can uninstall the LinkPulse extension at any time from
chrome://extensions. Uninstalling immediately revokes the extension's access. - The extension does not run any background tracking, telemetry, or analytics.
- The extension only activates on LinkedIn pages and only when you explicitly trigger it.
6. Compliance
LinkPulse complies with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, including the User Data Policy and the Limited Use requirements. We collect only the data necessary for the extension's single, clearly disclosed purpose.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
